1. Acceptance of the service terms
By accessing or using CheckInd, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent. If you use the service for a hotel, villa, homestay, or other hospitality property, you confirm that you have the authority to act for that property or business.
2. Service description
CheckInd provides software for guest check-in, OCR or MRZ assisted data capture, repeat guest workflows, room assignment support, administrative reporting, compliance-oriented record handling, and related operational tools.
3. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate account, property, billing, and room information.
- Use the service lawfully and only for authorized hospitality workflows.
- Ensure that guest information entered into the service is collected and used on a valid basis.
- Keep admin credentials secure and restrict access to authorized staff only.
- Review OCR or MRZ outputs before relying on them for legal or operational decisions.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and limits
Paid plans, trial plans, feature limits, room limits, usage caps, and invoicing terms may vary by plan or contract. A property may be restricted, downgraded, or suspended if fees remain unpaid, if a trial expires, if product abuse is detected, or if the service is used outside the agreed scope.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. This includes, without limitation:
- attempting unauthorized access to accounts, documents, or another property's data;
- uploading malicious, fraudulent, or unlawful content;
- testing the product in a way that disrupts live operations without permission;
- reverse engineering, scraping, or bypassing security or rate limits except where expressly allowed by law.
6. Data and compliance
Customers remain responsible for their guest registration, local compliance obligations, and the accuracy of records they accept or submit using the service. CheckInd may provide workflow support, but it does not replace independent legal review, property compliance procedures, or official government systems.
7. Availability and product changes
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but uptime is not guaranteed unless separately agreed in writing. We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, support scalability, or improve product quality.
8. Intellectual property
CheckInd and its branding, software, product design, documentation, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms or a customer agreement, no ownership rights are transferred.
9. Disclaimers and liability limits
The service is provided on an "as available" basis, subject to applicable law. OCR, MRZ, and automated extraction can improve speed but may still require human review in edge cases or low-quality uploads. To the maximum extent allowed by law, CheckInd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from service use, delay, or misuse.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, unpaid fees, repeated policy violations, legal compliance, or service abuse. Customers may stop using the service subject to any active billing or contractual commitments.
